All in all, seem to be well worth the minimal additional expense over the cheaply made pool rafts that are available. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice. I only wish they were a little longer and a little wider (I'd pay extra for that), as for an adult, the end of your legs / feet dangle off the end of the raft, and if it were one 'row' wider, your head would cradle between the rows of raft rather than balancing on the center row. We do go to the beach now and then, these would be worth taking along for a little ocean floating. The cost wasn't much more than the price of the cheap rubber rafts that usually last one season at best, we'll see how long these last. I took out the cording on the edges for safety's sake, but those could easily be replaced on the sides if we wanted to use them to bind the rafts together or use them for whatever purpose I can't imagine. ![]() They are a nice rubberized canvas, navy blue and red, in a nice size for the kids. These took a beating and are none the worse for wear. ![]() Sturdy! I bought two of these for the pool, with grandsons coming to visit. Of course after I removed the compressor the air started whooshing back out the funnel, so did the last 10-15% the old slow way by huffing into it then stuffing the "stopper" in place before too much air could flow out. I then tried inserting a small funnel into the tube and this did the trick with the compressor. Still couldn't force any air into the tube. After poking a hole while being careful not to press down too far, I tried using the air compressor again. By shining a light down inside the tube I could see an obstruction, so poked through it with small scissors since I wasn't about to try ripping the tube in half or twisting it till the seal failed. From the last time I inflated one of these things - eons ago - I recalled having to poke something into the hole to clear the tube for first time use. I first tried using an air compressor with zero results. I don't raise my arms over my head or pull my hair straight up when getting my height measured, so likewise don't stretch out the ruffles to glean a few fake inches for the sales specs. In the Q&A section someone else mentioned 55" as length, so go with this rather than 60". ![]() The actual size measured of the inflatable portion - NOT counting the ruffles - is about 55 3/4" long and 20" wide. Am using this "raft" as an inflatable temporary cushion while the original cushion is being re-stuffed. or else releasing it so slowly I cannot tell the difference. Have had this item for about five days, and so far it seems to be either holding it's air. Trying a re-review as errors with the first review (?) so here goes try#2.
